Roche Rapide P12 & F1 solid carbon fibre rear axle Posted: 20 Jul 2018 06:13 AM PDT Coming from Roche is a solid carbon fibre rear axle for the Rapide P12 and F1 kits. The axle replaces the standard ball differential assembly for a solid spool that provides more stable cornering an increased traction in very high bite “black carpet” racing conditions. Capricorn F1-02 CF link & wide front kits Posted: 20 Jul 2018 06:00 AM PDT Two new optional parts are available from Capricorn for their LAB F1-02 formula kit. First up is a carbon fibre side link set that improves overall rigidity, precision and performance. The multi-parts set replaces the standard composite links and it is understood to be usable on Capricorn’s 1/12th and 1/10th pan cars also. Also new and made exclusively for the F1-02 is a wide front end kit that increased the car’s front track width which can be helpful in certain track conditions and when running narrow offset front wheels. HPI Venture Toyota FJ axle weights Posted: 20 Jul 2018 03:52 AM PDT HPI Racing have introduced new axle weights for the Venture Toyota FJ Cruiser trail truck. The hollow weights fit over the driveshaft inside the axle, so the weights are completely hidden from sight inside the front and rear axle housings. Imbue introduce updated MBX8 dogbone kit Posted: 20 Jul 2018 02:20 AM PDT Imbue Motorsports have introduced an updated centre dogbone kit for the Mugen MBX8 and MBX7R buggies. Featuring new 5mm aluminium dogbones with harder pins for increased durability and wear, the kit also includes updated drive cups made from bearing steel which have been correctly hardened for long life. The cups also feature some minor revisions to prevent the dogbones from bottoming out, while also eliminating pinion play on MBX7R vehicles with 8×16 differential pinion bearings. Kyosho Ultima RB7 1/10th 2WD off-road buggy kit Posted: 20 Jul 2018 01:03 AM PDT Kyosho have released first information and images of their forthcoming Ultima RB7 1/10th 2WD buggy kit. The buggy builds on a newly developed 7075 aluminium chassis that is 4mm shorter than the previous RB6 main plate for improved cornering and optimised flex characteristics. Also new is the front suspension with gullwing-type front arms for more accurate damping while improved front knuckles and hubs with updated Ackermann locations and reinforcements ensure a proper front end geometry and better durability. Multi-configuration arms with bushings for long and short settings can be found on the rear as can be alloy rear suspension mounts. Other features include a lowered carbon-reinforced front shock stay, a new wing mount, an updated centre mount as well as shorter spring cups for high-grip surfaces that require the running of very low ride heights while plastic shock caps help to settle the buggy on bumpy surfaces. Posted: 20 Jul 2018 12:38 AM PDT Coming from Yokomo and made for their YD-2 and YD-4 drift cars are two diffusor sets to further enhance the performance of the cars. First up is the front and undertray diffusor kit that consists of a front and undertray diffusor that will help to achieve improved front end grip using the front aerodynamic help while the undertray diffusor accelerates and guides the air towards the rear end of the chassis for improved overall grip without loosing the ability to precisely drifting the car. The front and undertray diffusor are usable for both the YD-2 and YD-4 kits. Also new is the side diffusor set for the YD-2S series of RWD cars. The side diffusor will greatly improve overall traction and top speed while the smaller gap between the chassis and the body will improve body rigidity and durability.
