Redistricting could make or break political careers

Redistricting battle: A federal judge is set in February to create Louisiana's second Black-majority congressional district if the Legislature and Gov.-elect Jeff Landry don't create it themselves. A new district could have big impacts on Louisiana political careers, Tyler Bridges reports.

Vape ban: Louisiana's planned ban of several types of flavored disposable vapes came to a halt last week when a vape retailers' association sued the state to block the ban. The association says the ban will mean the vast majority of vape products can't be sold, Friedmann reports.
