Banks can manage CRE risk, OSFI's Routledge says Risks posed by losses on commercial real estate loans are still manageable for the top Canadian banks in light of the upheaval at New York Community Bancorp, said Peter Routledge, head of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.
