Happy Tu B'Shvat! This David from Feed Israel.

Next week is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which honors 6 million Jews and millions of other victims who lost their lives in the genocide of the Second World War. There are few among us who went through this tragedy firsthand, and in the recent years the pandemic and its lockdowns made things even worse for them.

Year-after-year, Feed Israel executed programs for the impoverished Holocaust survivors who could use a helping hand, food deliveries, support from the volunteers, and words of encouragement. Typically we would include the pictures from these events in the email to showcase the work we do with our supporters, like you. This year there may not be images or photos - as we are evaluating our risks for elderly in conducing the event.

Today is Tu BiShvat, which is a day of rebirth and rejuvenation. Despite the challenges we faced in the past, we've learned to stay strong and look toward a bright future. Israel has been the World leader in vaccine distribution by taking responsibility to take care of its people. Similarly, at Feed Israel, we take responsibility to help those struggling with poverty and hunger. Though we did not execute our regular event this year, our programs allow thousands of families throughout Israel to receive the help they need to survive.

In memory of those who gave up their lives and those who place their efforts daily to make the world better, please consider supporting Feed Israel.

DONATE NOW

Your contribution should merit you a life of peace and prosperity.

Words can not express how thankful we are for all your help in these challenging times.

Sincerely,

sig
