Mourning Tessie Prevost: At 6 years old Tessie Prevost was jeered by protestors as she and two other Black girls marched into a formerly all-White elementary school in New Orleans, drawing international attention to the battle over school desegregation in the South. She died on Saturday at 69. Patrick Wall has this look back at Prevost's role in toppling racial apartheid in the U.S. Backing Biden: Despite intensifying criticism of President Joe Biden following his faltering performance at a recent presidential debate, Louisiana delegates at next month’s Democratic National Convention are sticking by hm. Tyler Bridges talked to more than 20 delegates about why they're still backing Biden. Expo 2025: New Orleans-based firm Trahan Architects is designing the USA Pavilion for next year's World's Fair in Osaka, Japan, a project that will have the attention of architects around the globe.
