Reminder: Take action to maintainyour HPE Remote Support connectivity

Attention Insight Remote Support, OneView Remote Support and Direct Connect users.

As an identified user of HPE Remote Support solutions, or a subscriber to related support alerts, you are receiving this reminder that immediate actions are advised as early as September 28, 2018 in order to maintain your connectivity to HPE Remote Support Data Centers.
  • New security certificates issued by DigiCert and available through recent application software and firmware updates must be installed. Review the table below for supported version information and update as necessary.

  • HPE customers must also confirm configuration to HPE.com when connecting with HPE. Prior to installing the new security certificates, please verify that your firewall or proxy rules permit communication to HPE (not hp.com) on all installations of Insight RS (including 7.9), and Direct Connect (iLO and OA).
Refer to the HPE Remote Support Certificate Update Guide for specific instructions to update the new certificates and HPE.com URL configurations. Act today to maintain your HPE remote support connectivity!

  HPE Insight Remote Support
  • Insight RS versions prior to 7.9 require certificate update
  • All Insight Remote Support versions must confirm connectivity through HPE.com URLs
  HPE OneView Remote Support
  • OneView Remote Support versions prior to 4.00.09 require certificate update
  • No further HPE.com URL update needed for OneView
  HPE iLO Direct Connect
  • iLO 5 versions prior to version 1.30 require certificate update
  • iLO 4 versions prior to 2.60 require certificate update
  • Confirm connectivity through HPE.com URLs
  HPE Onboard Administrator Direct Connect
  • OA versions prior to 4.80 require certificate update
  • Confirm connectivity through HPE.com URLs
