The violence and bigotry displayed over that weekend more than four years ago opened many people’s eyes to the danger of far-right extremism. The plaintiffs are seeking damages in what is turning out to be a very Jewish lawsuit, with key players including Deborah Lipstadt and Roberta Kaplan, both of whom have strong ties to the Forward.
