Dear friends, First, thank you for your support over the years. You’ve been with us through thick and thin, and we are so grateful to continue to be able to provide quality entertainment in the form of The Writer’s Almanac, Garrison’s writings, A Prairie Home Companion archives, new digital projects, live shows, and more. Ever since Garrison retired from the show, our three-person staff has been working hard to fund our projects and reach our former audience of 3 million listeners. This has been challenging at times without access to the vast resources of public radio. What we need from our fans right now is a little help to spread the word and fund our work. Our goals this summer are to: - expand our newsletter subscriptions
- increase listenership to The Writer’s Almanac
- raise money through donations and merchandise sales
There are a lot of worthy causes out there right now and many people are experiencing difficulty, so we certainly understand if now is not the right time for some of you. But for those of you who have some extra time or funds on hand, we ask that you consider some of the below options to help us continue our work as an organization. If we work together in this grassroots effort, we think we can achieve big things! Always with gratitude, The staff of Prairie Home Productions |
