Reviving a swamp. And RFK is on the way.

Fixing the swamp: A plan to revive a dying swamp between New Orleans and Baton Rouge got a $60 million boost recently. It was the last financial leg in what will be a $500 million effort, Josie Abugov reports.


‘Do you see a conflict?’ A powerful politician has raised new questions about how the state will run the LA GATOR program. Senate President Cameron Henry’s questions are the latest involving the program that allows families to pay for private schools with public money, Patrick Wall reports.


MAHA bill signingRobert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to be Baton Rouge Friday for a bill signing event with Gov. Jeff Landry, Alyse Pfeil reports. The Health and Human Services secretary will be on hand to watch Landry sign the “Make America Healthy Again” legislation that state lawmakers approved this spring. 

Speaking of Kennedy, Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy is raising some concerns about the secretary's remaking of a panel that advises the federal government on vaccinations.
