Rich Strike overcame 80-1 odds to win the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby in a surprise upset. Epicenter finished second, while Zandon finished third.

Saturday's race went off without a horse guided by Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, who is temporarily banned from racing horses at Churchill Downs after Medina Spirit was stripped of last year's Derby win for failing a drug test
