Rodeo Grand Prix

The elite of the horse show jumping world will have Fort Worth in their sights as the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is set to host the First Annual Show Jumping Classic and Rodeo Grand Prix presented by Defender Outdoors benefiting The Saving Hope Foundation.

Included in the price of grounds admission, the event kicks off at 8 a.m. in Will Rogers Coliseum January 26 and consist of five invitational classes followed by an invitational grand prix, the highest and most technical level of jumping, beginning at 5 p.m.

An awards ceremony will conclude the competition, with fans invited to attend a post-event VIP reception at 6:30 p.m at the Backstage Club!

Overlooking the coliseum, the Backstage Club has an extensive history of dining and social gathering for more than 50 years, and has been frequented by politicians, movie stars and other celebrities. A private club for more than five decades, the once exclusive Backstage Club will be open to the public, with no memberships required!

Reata at the Rodeo has operated its original on-site restaurant during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in the Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibits Hall since 2002. A full-service restaurant offering both lunch and dinner, Reata at the Rodeo features many of the legendary western menu items from its downtown location, including Pan-Seared Pepper-Crusted Tenderloin with Port Wine Glaze, Charbroiled Rib Eye with Cook's Butter and Carne Asada topped with Cheese Enchiladas.

On the opening weekend of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, the Multi-Purpose Building at the Will Rogers Memorial Center becomes a hive of activity. This is where Texas 4-H and FFA members come together to demonstrate their remarkable skills in design, fabrication, construction, and restoration of farm, ranch, and recreational equipment. These young enthusiasts bring creativity and technical prowess to the forefront, showcasing projects that are both functional and innovative.
