Rooting Strawberry Runners In Pudding Cups

Several people have posted a tip on ThriftyFun suggesting the use of pudding cups for starting seeds and cuttings. My opinion was that they were too small to allow adequate root formation prior to transplanting.

I found 2 lanterns in great shape at a thrift store for pennies! I wanted to transform these beauties into something other than lighting - planters! Although you find a lot of them are in black, I will transform them into a softer look.

After exams, I glanced out the window to look for positivity and I found these vendors selling beautiful flowers. The flowers are not easily seen unless the picture is zoomed in. However, that's how we must look at life, even if we are surrounded with negativity, we need to zoom in for us to see the positivity it brings.
Recycle Cardboard for Starting Seeds

I discovered that empty toilet paper rolls fit perfectly in the cardboard drink trays from fast food restaurants. Just put the toilet paper rolls into the drink tray, fill them with soil and plant your seed.

Feverfew is a lovely perennial herb that has white, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers and soft, light green serrated leaves. Plants grow from 9 to 24 inches high and produce single or double flowers for most of the summer and early fall. Feverfew is useful for planting between stones or pavers on walkways and paths.
