Share your club's leadership skills

Tomorrow’s Rotary leaders develop from today’s clubs and districts. You can create and promote your development program by using the Leadership in Action event guide  in Rotary’s Brand Center.

Build sessions so that leaders in your club and community can develop the skills needed to cause change. Then, customize your marketing flier and event guide to detail the benefits of the program. Distribute your flier through email or social media, or make hard copies for meetings and community events.

Connect with us: We’re looking for stories from clubs and districts that plan to use the Leadership in Action brochure to market their program. Tell us your plans at learn@rotary.org.

LEARN TODAY
Celebrate with us in Atlanta

Join the thousands of Rotarians who have already registered for the biggest event of the Rotary year, the 2017 Rotary Convention in Atlanta! There’s still time to register. You won’t want to miss the unforgettable HOST EVENTS, from barbecue and bluegrass to dinner at the World of Coca-Cola or the College Football Hall of Fame.

Connect with old friends and make new ones, and be a part of the best Rotary has to offer. In Atlanta you can build your training expertise at several breakout sessions:

  • Becoming a Better Storyteller — discover and refine your stories, and understand how connecting with others through storytelling can be one of the best ways to introduce people to Rotary.
  • Awareness: A Key Component of Leadership— explore the nature of awareness and its importance in leadership and managing change. Discuss how leaders can improve performance by raising awareness.
  • Becoming an Effective Rotary Communicator— learn about the new public image resources you can use to raise understanding of Rotary and inspire others to take action or become members.
  • Social Media Best Practices — explore the best examples of social media campaigns from the Rotary community and beyond. A team of social media professionals and Rotary members will detail their successes and inspire you to make social media work for your club and your community.

Breakout sessions will also target Rotarians appointed to leadership roles or expecting future ones:

  • Forum for 2018-19 District Governors
  • Leading Your Club to Greatness (for 2017-18 Club Presidents)
  • Getting Ready for Your Role (for 2018-19 Club Presidents)
