Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a celebratory kiss at a charity polo match on Wednesday after the duke's victory.

Following the tournament, which successfully raised $1 million (over R16 million) for the couple's various charities, saw William embrace his wife and give her a peck on the cheek – a rare sight as members of the royal family don't often engage in PDA.

Royal etiquette expert, Myka Meier, tells People, for one, royals are to "use their better judgment as to when it's appropriate" to embrace one another publicly.

The couple, who brought their dog Orla with them to the tournament in Windsor, is relocating their family from their London home to a new residence in Berkshire.
