Total income from farming data published

The new report on the state of the industry shows that net income from farming in Scotland is estimated to have fallen in 2018. Increased feed costs contributed to an eight per cent drop in income to £672 million.

MenoUltras: 12 Ultra marathons in 12 days in world record attempt

One of our amazing supporters will be running 12 ultra-marathons in 12 days in a bid to set a new World Record and raise money for menopause research.

Erica Clarkson will attempt her awe-inspiring feat on a 400M running track in the Orkney Islands, Scotland in aid of Wellbeing of Women.

Scottish Farm Business Survey

In the coming weeks some farmers may receive a letter from SAC Consulting asking them to participate in the Scottish Farm Business Survey which is funded by the Scottish Government.

Farmers who receive this request are strongly encouraged to take part in the survey as it is an invaluable source of information for farmers, farmer's unions, the agricultural industry and government in helping understand what is happening in the industry.
