The precious metal may hit $3,100 an ounce by year-end and may rally further should uncertainty over economic policies persist, analysts at the bank said. The bullish outlook aligns with a host of other predictions. Citigroup last month said it expects gold to hit a record of $3,000 within three months. It’s worth noting that the global market has been in upheaval of late, with futures in New York trading at a premium over international benchmarks in London.
