| Good evening, Folks, Jeff Bishop here. | While Israel and Iran are lighting up the skies and bombarding each other's infrastructure, once again, all eyes are on President Trump. | Our Commander in Chief left the G7 meeting early yesterday and has been waving a mighty saber around ever since. | The markets dipped about 1% today in nervous anticipation… | Who knows what will really happen, but I don’t rule this out as another typical instance of the President’s negotiation style. | People have become well acquainted with that style throughout this trade war, and the disparagingly named “TACO” trade (Trump Always Chickens Out) has certainly outperformed the big hedge funds this year. | The thing that still gives Trump the edge, though, is that he’s just wild enough to do… anything, and so you can’t rule out even full-scale U.S. involvement. | IF I had to place a bet, I’d wager this will be another TACO opportunity — foreign policy style. I think even a limited U.S. strike on a nuclear facility would appease the markets, barring an Iranian retaliation that kills U.S. citizens. | But as with the trade war, this hot war hasn’t slowed my roll. | On Monday morning, I sent out two “tactical trade” ideas. | One of them hit a 9% intraday peak, which is good, but the other one went phenomenally: | | Today’s “tactical” idea was great out of the gate — it ripped more than 46% — but then trended down as the day went on… | But have a look at how it was doing in after-hours trading: | | And now back in the red - tons of trading action here, people!
