Celebrating UK Hydrogen Week |
Safe Net Zero eBulletin from HSE This week has been UK Hydrogen Week: a week that celebrates and promotes the role of hydrogen in reaching net zero. Its been the perfect opportunity for us at HSE to reflect how our science and solutions are enabling a safe transition to hydrogen technologies. Last month, over 160 stakeholders from a diverse range of organisations and industry sectors came together to discuss the challenges associated with materials used in hydrogen environments at an event hosted by HSE. Sharing our knowledge through training Our hydrogen timeline charts two decades of HSEs world-leading, cutting-edge research looking into the practicality, risk and safety issues associated with utilising hydrogen as a source of low-carbon energy. We share this knowledge and experience through Hydrogen: The Fundamentals, a training course designed for those working with hydrogen, so that they can understand how it may behave differently to incumbent fuels and how to safely engineer for those differences. Join the growing number of delegates and organisations benefiting from HSE's hydrogen safety expertise. | |
