Safety Efforts this Lag Ba'Omer

Dear friend,

As Lag Ba'Omer festivities commence in Israel, with people already gathering to celebrate and honor the memory of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai in Meron, we reflect on the tragic events that took place two years ago. We are determined to ensure that such a tragedy is not repeated.

Zaka Tel Aviv is on-site, operating centers in key locations around Meron, working hand in hand with the Israel Police to ensure the safety and well-being of the attendees. Essential services such as locating missing people and lost children, providing medical assistance, distributing cold water, recharging cellphones, and maintaining a lost and found area are being offered. Organized groups can also request identification bracelets for children, which have proven effective in reuniting lost children with their parents.

With Zaka volunteers and Israeli Police working tirelessly in shifts, we hope for a peaceful and safe celebration of Lag Ba'Omer at Meron. To support Zaka Tel Aviv's life-saving efforts, consider making a donation.
