As I was preparing for family coming home for Christmas, I made this sausage dip ahead of time and put it in the refrigerator. It is simple and easy to make. It is gluten free if using Tostitos corn chips.

There is clarified butter, and then there is ghe or ghee. They are not the same. Clarified butter, or 'drawn butter', as it was called in times past, is the simpler to prepare of the two. It can be used many ways. Essentially, it is regular butter with the milk solids and water removed.

A great way to use leftover turkey! Mix all ingredients together and pour over turkey that has been roasted and either cut up or shredded. Heat before serving.
