This keeps the number of files to a reasonable level, reduces risk, increases efficiency, and saves investment. Archiving can also save considerable energy. An Archive that stores all files and productions on LTO tape is highly economical with low power consumption. Tape offers the lowest price point per TB compared to every other medium. Scaling is cheap with about 10USD/EUR per TB. This provides the user with unmatched price reliability, density, and organization.
