The European Union has committed itself to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, signaling a crucial turning point in the fight against climate change. As the debate unfolds on the trajectory to this ambitious goal, it becomes evident that the the path to realizing this vision is laden with intricate challenges, demanding a meticulous examination of economic, industrial, and social considerations. At the forefront of these challenges lies the need to wean the EU from fossil fuel dependencies.
