Imagine a world where the memories of your loved ones fade away, and the burden of care falls heavily on families... sadly, the significant and growing impact of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), the leading cause of dementia,1 means this is a reality that many of us are painfully familiar with.

Despite its prevalence and impact, AD remains widely underdiagnosed and undermanaged.2,3 On average, it can take almost three years following the initial onset of symptoms for individuals with AD to be diagnosed.2 As many as 75% of people living with dementia globally are never diagnosed at all.3

At this virtual event taking place from 13:00-14:00 CET on 13th June, Lilly will convene a panel of experts to discuss new real-world data that could help to unlock access to early diagnosis for more people with AD.

Attendees will hear exclusive real-world insights into the social and systemic barriers that are blocking access to timely diagnosis and intervention in AD when they could make the greatest difference. Discussions will explore the impact that delaying the diagnosis of AD can have on patients and care partners, along with the benefits that an early, accurate diagnosis of AD can offer.

With new developments in AD diagnostics and management on the horizon, this event will consider the importance of taking collective action now to future-proof health care infrastructures, reflecting on what practical steps are needed to drive positive changes.

Register below to sign up for this event and explore how all stakeholders must play a part in improving access to AD diagnosis and care.
