It has been 200 years since the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, and PSPL is celebrating! Join us throughout the month of October for a series of programs based on the novel and its lasting influence on both literature and pop culture. Revisit the gothic masterpiece with us, or read it for the first time! You’ll even have a chance to join us at The Grand Theatre for a free screening of the classic 1931 film Frankenstein starring Boris Karloff (free tickets will be available at the Library starting September 21!) We are proud to present The Official Kentucky Liar's Contest in celebration of Kentucky Storytelling Month.
