Get Ready for FrankenReads! 
It has been 200 years since the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, and PSPL is celebrating! Join us throughout the month of October for a series of programs based on the novel and its lasting influence on both literature and pop culture. Revisit the gothic masterpiece with us, or read it for the first time! You’ll even have a chance to join us at The Grand Theatre for a free screening of the classic 1931 film Frankenstein starring Boris Karloff (free tickets will be available at the Library starting September 21!) Night at the Library: A Carnival Extravaganza
Join us on Tuesday, October 2, 6pm-8pm, for a carnival with the Cincinnati Circus featuring a juggler, magician, face painter, and knife thrower! No registration required. Adults, kids, and families are all welcome!

The Official Kentucky Liar's Contest
Tuesday, September 25, at 6pm
We are proud to present The Official Kentucky Liar's Contest in celebration of Kentucky Storytelling Month. Anyone can tell a tall tale, and we invite you to bring your best to compete for marvelous prizes, bragging rights, and the title of "Kentucky's Best Liar."  All ages may enter. There will be a Youth Division (17 & under) and an Adult Division (18 & up).

Yoga for Beginners

Certified yoga instructor Grace Rogers will lead participants in breathing exercises, simple physical postures with some flowing in between, and relaxation. Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat if you have one.

World Vital Records
