Thrifty Tips (February 28, 2019)
Here's a great informational article about destination weddings. The wedding guests travel to an exotic or popular locale and combine the ceremony and reception with the honeymoon itself. Protecting Remote Controls

By tank

A remote in a plastic bag with bubble wrap on the bottom. The tip is: Don't let it get dirty in the first place. I wrapped the bottom part (the battery compartment) in bubble wrap and slipped it inside a sandwich bag to protect from dirt and oil. No more actual touching the remote. And if we drop it, it's protected by the bubble wrap.

Sticky Rice Balls on plateI didn't know what this sticky treat was called. I started thinking about how it was made. After a few experiments in the kitchen I was able to recreate them. My aunt always gave me these favorite treats every Chinese new year.

Runner Ducks in the SnowOur runner ducks don't shy away from any type of weather. I always worry about them when the weather gets yucky. We had a surprised snow storm this week and I wanted to see what they were up to. As I walked into the yard, they ran up to greet me and tell me all about the snow. :) They loved it!

Dear Webby's Joke of the Day
A high school teacher arrived late for class to find a most uncomplimentary drawing of himself on the blackboard. Fuming, he asked the class, "Who is responsible for this atrocity?!"

The class clown won tremendous prestige among his peers by answering, "I really don't know, but I strongly suspect his parents."

Activity Ideas for an Elderly Stroke Victim
I need activity ideas for a 70 year old gentleman that I am taking care of. He has right side paralysis due to a stroke. I try and make sure I take him to movies once a week. He is only interested in fire related films as he is a retired fireman. I take him out to eat at least twice a week. But he would rather sit in front of TV all day everyday.

I am starting my own skin care line. I need some help with the name as it is challenging coming up with something not only original, but not overused. My products are organic, natural, and have no additives or preservatives. The scents are citrus, sage, and lavender. I have a face scrub that is actually edible, so completely safe.
