North Charleston asks businesses to cut occupancy rates

The city of North Charleston is asking businesses to reduce its occupancy to ensure appropriate separation during the COVID-19 pandemic. North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey said the city will continue to comply with directions given by the state.

Greenville votes today on stay-at-home ordinance

Greenville City Council will vote on an emergency stay-at-home ordinance that fines individuals who are not providing an “essential service” for congregating in public areas.

Carnival cruise ship to remain in Charleston through May 11

The Carnival Sunshine will remain in Charleston Harbor through May 11 as Carnival makes plans to extend its pause in operations. The ship has been docked at the Columbus Street Terminal since March 16, when all passengers disembarked after the Sunshine’s latest voyage.
