$100M investment brings 525 jobs to Anderson

An Anderson manufacturer plans to build a 1 million-square-foot manufacturing plant, reconditioning facility and warehouse, by the fourth quarter of 2022 with a $100 million investment.

Palmetto State nonprofits need $61M to remain solvent

A statewide survey shows that 63% of nonprofits have six months or less of viability without additional funding. Five percent are already out of money and 29% indicated they can operate up to three more months. A survey assed the financial health of the state's nonprofits during the first eight days of September.

CAE now offering pre-booked parking option

Airport travelers can pre-book surface or garage parking through online system GOairport, available through CAE’s website. Travelers can choose parking online and scan a barcode upon entry and exit.

Duke Endowment grant connects rural communities to health

Gibbs Cancer Center is using a grant from the Duke Endowment to improve access to medical care in Cherokee and Union counties. The center also will use the $584,000 grant to provide screenings and early detection education.
