| Beer, music, food on tap for Midlands' Savage Craft opening The West Columbia brewery will be offering a selection of beers and upscale appetizers beginning at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30. The transformation of the 3,200-square-foot building, former site of a city hall and a fire station, has been in the works for more than two years. Charleston Airport gains routes to St. Louis, Louisville, Ky. Las Vegas-based airline Allegiant will offer nonstop service from Charleston to St. Louis and Louisville, Ky.
