New park to attract large industry to Greenville

Greenville County has unveiled plans for a new Class A business and industrial park – a 172-acre Fountain Inn development dubbed Fox Hill Business Park. Developed by The Sudler Companies, a New Jersey-based real estate firm, the property will bring up to 2.5 million square feet of industrial and distribution space.

Richland County distributing noncontact thermometers

The county’s economic development office began distributing the infrared devices this week. The county received 227 thermometers and said it has gotten about 50 requests for them from qualifying, private-sector businesses.

Anderson planned development proposals flounder

Anderson County Planning Commission’s June 9 meeting, touted as the night more housing projects could be approved than in all of 2019, crawled past midnight with relatively few projects getting the go-ahead.

Businesses urged to take One Region safety pledge

Businesses and organizations taking the pledge get materials to add to their offices, storefronts and websites to show they’re following a specific, documented safety plan for reopening. They’re also added to a searchable database on the One Region Ready website.
