Greenville enforces masks, launches business fund

City council voted to mandate masks in some businesses after Bon Secours St. Francis Health System almost met its ICU bed limit last week with an influx of COVID-19 patients. Small businesses affected by COVID-19 may also be eligible for city grants.

Lowcountry Kettle expanding, adding 24 jobs

The company, which makes kettle chips in a variety of Lowcountry-inspired flavors, plans to use the growth to expand across the Southeast and add two new flavors, Bulls Bay Sea Salt and Carolina Reaper.

Savage Craft Ale Works is on track for late September opening despite delays, manufacturing challenges and a global pandemic. Financed by a core of investors who are active-duty members of the U.S. Army Special Forces, the brewery began to take shape in the fall of 2018.
