Roper St. Francis names new president and CEO

Following a second national search, Dr. Jeffrey DiLisi has been selected as Roper St. Francis Healthcare’s new CEO and president and will assume the role beginning Dec. 7. DiLisi most recently served as senior vice president and chief medical officer of Virginia Hospital Center.

Silver Airways to begin service to Florida from CAE

The regional airline will offer flights to Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando beginning Dec. 17. One-way fares will start at $49, and flights will depart twice a week.

S.C. Manufacturing Conference & Expo:
Opening keynote: Kevin Graham, Volvo Cars

Kevin Graham, director of plant engineering for Volvo Cars will open the S.C. Manufacturing Conference & Expo at 9 a.m., Oct. 29. This year, the Expo is going online, including keynotes from economic development officials, industry leaders and others devoted to ensuring the viability of manufacturing in the Palmetto State.

Brewery and taproom bound for downtown Anderson

A trio of brewers who established their own label by creating beer in someone else’s brewery have announced plans to build a brewery in downtown Anderson. They hope the city’s third brewery will make Anderson a beer destination.
