Scotland Moves to Level 0 from 19th July

The Scottish Government has confirmed that Scotland will move to Level 0 from 19th July however people are being urged to adhere to protective measures and sensible precautions to suppress coronavirus (COVID-19) to help create conditions that allow Scotland to move beyond Level 0 on 9th August.

The move to Level 0 will see a number of measures easing as we move ever closer to normality, however businesses are being asked to continue to support home working where possible until we move beyond Level 0.

Update to Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Driver and Operator Support Fund

If you are a licensed taxi or private hire driver experiencing financial challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and who previously received a one-off grant of £1,500, you may now be eligible for a second grant payment.

This support is separate from any other funding you may have received from the Scottish or UK Government. For example, if you have applied to the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme, you may still be eligible.
