This LED light fixture is fun and easy to make, and will look beautiful outside at your summer barbecues when the sun starts going down. They also work great indoors. I like to put some around the bathroom for bath time. :)

Buying handmade edible cake and cupcake toppers is incredibly expensive! My friend wanted some for a party and saw they were $40 for a small set. I jumped in and made a bunch for a fraction of the price. If you can handle making shapes with Play Doh, you can totally make these. Follow along with my sushi ideas, or try your own favourites!

Home Sweet Home Framed Leaves Wall Hanging
By 15mhhm15
From our first flower bouquet in our home, I saved the flower fillers caspia and Israeli ruscus green. I actually visioned the greenery combo pressed between glass, but it was harder than I thought. Then, I compromised and came up with this, framed leaves with a cute sign that reads Home Sweet Home. This frame is being hung in our living room.

We would love to have a garden in our backyard, but supposedly there are gophers. We decided on having a raised garden bed and after looking at the costs of already built raised garden beds and ready to purchase and install yourself garden beds, they were definitely out of our budget!

Old Gift Cards as Paper Creasing Tool
By 15mhhm15
Instead of tossing out used up gift cards or old credit cards that expired, you can use them as a paper creasing tool. They help you crease papers easily without hurting your fingers/nails. I keep a couple cards in my crafting area and they come in handy.

Detail is important in art. Giving details to your work adds interest to viewers. This craft might be a simple one, but by giving extra effort on folding, it should look better than any paper figures.

There are plenty of lovely jewellery items available to buy for little girls, but very little for boys. This is a cute wristband for little boys to look super cool. It has a sliding knot to make it easy to wear and it is quick and simple to make.

I love painted flowerpots, and I think in the spring they make a fun statement. One of the most popular outdoor motifs is watermelon. I have watermelon cups, plates, and pitchers, so I decided that I wanted to make watermelon flowerpots to match.

Portable Wall Pencil Sharpener
By vanislegirl2013
I enjoy adult colouring. I have a pencil sharpener that mounts on the wall, very inconvenient. My balcony was being replaced and I saw the plywood being removed and an idea struck me, portable pencil sharpener base.

I am not big on wearing jewelry because my skin is so sensitive. However, I do enjoy earrings, even though it hurts to wear them. It is silly for me to have a jewelry box though because all I have are those earrings. Instead, I made an earring holder out of craft sticks.

Hornets and wasps are territorial. When one sets in the other pretty much doesn't. So, to keep both away from my balcony, I crocheted a faux hornets' nest to keep my balcony "nasties" free.

Someone's trash is another woman's treasure! I found these freezer floor grates at a local salvage yard for $5.00. They were just the right height (about 2 feet) for keeping the bunnies from their breakfast! (My vines!)
