Captain Current vs. The Electricity Vampires with the Kentucky Science Center
Saturday, December 1, 11:00am 
Meet Captain Current, Kentucky Science Center’s resident superhero! Follow her on her adventures to stop her archenemy, electricity vampires! Learn about electricity, where it comes from, and how you can help save it with Captain Current. Spend time with hands-on activity stations after the show to experiment with energy conservation! The Kentucky Science Center presentation will be at 11am. Stations will be available from 12:30pm-3pm.This program is for kids ages 6-12. Registration is not required.

Book Babies is a program of stories, songs, and rhymes specially designed for our youngest patrons (ages 0-24 months) and their parents or caregivers.

Young children (ages 2-3), accompanied by an adult, are introduced to simple stories, fingerplays, and activities. Patrons should choose one of two six-week sessions to attend: Tuesdays @ 5:30pm OR Wednesdays @ 10am. Registration is required.

Join us for stories, songs, crafts, and other activities for preschoolers, ages 4-5, and kids entering kindergarten in the fall. Patrons should choose one of two six-week sessions to attend: Tuesdays @ 6:30pm OR Thursdays @ 11am. Registration is required. 
Gnomes and Fairies

Kids in grades K-2, help us celebrate fall with this gnome and fairy program. Registration is required.

Harry Potter Club

Tweens and Teens in grades 3-12, join us for our first meeting of Harry Potter Club! Bring your ideas and celebrate the boy who lived with games, crafts, and art! Registration is required.

Holiday Countdown Calendars

Through the Eyes of Lincoln

By contrasting period photographs depicting what Abraham Lincoln actually saw with dazzling modern-day photography of the same scenes, Kentucky author Ron Elliott will offer a glimpse of the world through the eyes of Lincoln.

PSPL at the Movies: The Ref

Join us to discuss this comedic holiday film starring Denis Leary as an unfortunate cat burglar who becomes trapped in a fate worse than jail when he takes a bickering couple and their annoying relatives hostage.

Yoga for Beginners
Wednesday, December 5, 6pm 
Certified yoga instructor Grace Rogers will lead participants in breathing exercises, simple physical postures with some flowing in between, and relaxation. Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
