BOSTON: Event technology provider Groupize has announced the launch of Groupize 3.0, a redesigned and expanded meeting and expense platform. The new service includes more than 10 new features that can service all tiers of meetings and workflows, from registering a meeting and self-service to expert assistance and full service for any organization. DALLAS/FORT WORTH: Dallas Design District is getting its first music venue, thanks to a tag-team effort between Live Nation and Mark Cuban. The venue, named the HiFi Dallas, will open in May and focus on more intimate entertainment events—hence the capacity of only 1,000 people. Not just a music hub, the new space will accommodate events with a flexible floor plan that allows the lobby, outside area, and upstairs to be partitioned. LOS ANGELES: Private workspace NeueHouse plans to expand to Venice Beach in late 2020. It will occupy a historic building owned by producer Tony Bill and outfitted by DesignAgency. MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: New-to-market destination management company LatinPlus has launched in South Florida, offering meetings and event professionals across North America an opportunity to connect with DMCs based in Latin America, such as Colombia en Colores, Maritur, and Vivaterra Group, among others. NEW YORK: The Architectural Digest Design Show—originally scheduled for March 19-22—has been postponed to run from June 25-28 due to growing concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak. |
