Explore secret parts of the Underground this festive season

December in London can feel very Christmas-centric, but here’s something totally different to get up to this month.

Hidden London tours give you the chance to go behind the scenes of the London Underground — think disused stations, time capsule corridors and forgotten Tube platforms. They’re running throughout December, with extra dates between Christmas and New Year — ideal if you’re gift shopping for a transport enthusiast, or looking for a fun activity while school’s out (for the first time, kids aged 10 and over are welcome on tours).

It’s panto season (oh yes it is)
