Apple is getting ready to explain its iPhone production strategy to shareholders in the wake of the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak in China at its annual general meeting on 26 February. However, another group of shareholders at the AGM is set to take Apple to task over its human rights record in that country.

Windows ransomware attacks cost Australia about US$39.8 million (A$60.4 million) in ransom demand costs in 2019 at the minimum, a study by the security firm Emsisoft has found. The estimated cost of these attacks, totalling 2874, was US$159.4 million.
