The strain on supply has pushed egg prices to crazed prices ($4.15 on average for a dozen large grade-A eggs in December). Waffle House even started adding a $0.50 “egg surcharge.” | Now some consumers are getting antsy. | As a result, Costco and Trader Joe’s are limiting the amount of eggs you’re allowed to purchase. | Unfortunately, the trend shouldn’t reverse quickly.
