~Irvin S. Cobb The judge looked at me with an encouraging smile. “Are you ready?” she asked. I looked down at Paisley the Wonder Dog, who was poised in anticipation. My stomach was filled with butterflies the size of pterodactyls, but this was our moment. This was what we had trained for. “Ready!” I answered. “Paisley, heel!” And so began our very first obedience trial. I didn’t want anyone to know it was our first go.
