Gov. Phil Murphy.

Join Steve Goldberg, President, Stage Deli; David Sax, author of “Save the Deli!”; and Forward National Editor Rob Eshman for a conversation on why so many delis are facing extinction, what we lose when they’re gone, and whether they can ever be replaced. Rukhl Schaechter discusses role of women in the shtetl Forverts editor Rukhl Schaechter and historian Sholem Beinfeld will appear on the weekly Yiddish-language radio show, Dos Yidishe Kol (the Yiddish Voice) for a discussion on the powerful role of the woman in the East European shtetl. This segment is part of the Dr. Thomas Zand Forward Event Series. It will be conducted in Yiddish.
