Less than one year to go, for Lucerne 2021

Hello,
As we inch closer to the end of what has been a very challenging year, there's thankfully a bunch of good news on the university sports front. First and foremost, the successful postponement of the winter World University Games in Lucerne to December 2021 means that we can continue to prepare for, and look forward to our flagship winter sports event. Also, despite the hurdles of this year, we had the successful global launch of the FISU Healthy Campus programme - which already has around fifty major universities on board - and our Education programmes such as the FISU Volunteer Leaders Academy and the FISU World Forum were organised entirely online for the first time in our history.
Even now, as the holidays approach, some FISU team members have been going through strict quarantine in order to work in Chengdu, China, for the preparation of the upcoming summer's FISU World University Games. You can find an update on preparations in Chengdu, in our news section below.
All in all, it's been a year of innovation, learnings and silver linings. Not a bad note to end 2020 on.
Until 2021 then, we wish you happy holidays and a Happy New Year in advance.
Best regards from your FISU Team
