Imaginary Clothespin Flying Butterfly
By 15mhhm15
If your toddler loves butterflies, this would be a fun craft to make together. Not only is it a fun craft, but your toddler can play with their butterfly and get in some indoor exercise. I did not think she would have this much fun with this imaginary butterfly, but she did and ran around with the butterfly as if it was flying!
Arrow Toss Valentine's Day Toddler Game
By 15mhhm15
If you are having a Valentine's Day party or just want a game to play at home with your toddlers, you can make this arrow toss game. The object of the game is to see who can toss their arrow the closest to the center of the heart.

This is a cute and easy card to make out of paper cutouts of hearts and triangles. Make one for the one you love. :)

I found this cute straw handbag for near to nothing. It has a great look and can be useful in a fun way as a garden planter wreath. Add a simply lining (if using live flowers) or not if artificial flowers that can get changed out with the different seasons are chosen. I wanted to give it a more fresh look, so it was updated with spray paint, colorful ribbon, and flowers.

I love to dye papers for my handmade notebooks and journals. This week I found out I could scent these pages beautifully.

It's been raining all weekend in Southern California, so we did some indoor crafting today featuring the Valentine's Day Dog!

No need to make reservations and venture out for Valentine's day like everyone else. With this gift, you can cozy up with your loved one and make some s'mores while watching your favorite movie.
Rocketship Valentine's Day Gifts
By 15mhhm15
My toddler and I made Valentine's Day rocket-ship gifts for his classmates. The school doesn't allow candies or sweets, so we thought this would be fun to make and give.

This very simple wreath can be done in a matter of minutes. You only need a foam wreath, ribbon, and 1 straight pin. Because it is not glued, your wreath can be changed out for different looks and the ribbon can be saved for other projects, keeping this project very thrifty.

Make a card for your sweetie using a play on words. The rolling pin is made from a piece of cardboard, and stands out nicely due to its thickness. I used plain craft paper for the dough and card base.

I save all card packagings I get from online orders because they can easily be redesigned and reused. The themes for these greeting cards are Happy Birthday and Happy Valentine's Day. These are perfect to pair with the gift baskets I make throughout the year!

One of my earliest memories in school is visiting the zoo. The only animal I remember vividly from my first grade trip is the bear! They were a bit scary. I've found that friendly crafts lessen the fear and calm the nerves of kids when they are frightened. Kids can create a polar bear, grizzly, panda, or a black bear!
Crochet Keychain Mini-Coin Purse

Do you ever find yourself hunting for quarters when you're out and about? I do! One of the grocery stores I shop at regularly requires that you insert a quarter into the shopping carts in order to use them. My kids love gumball/toy machines, but I never have change for them. And heaven forbid I need to park in front of a meter.

If you have lovely vintage solid glass or perhaps old rhinestone buttons you'd like to recycle and sew onto homemade or even purchased garments, but were afraid they'd break in the laundry, here's another solution rather than having to pin them on each time

Chinese New Year is tomorrow! Instead of buying flowers, we used flowers right from our yard.
Paper Snowman Dry-Erase Tic-Tac-Toe & Dots and Boxes Boards
By tiffanytallent1981
I live where snow tends to hit us the hardest during the first three months of the year. On these days, kids need indoor activities to keep them occupied, like these snowman dry-erase games.
By Judy
This is fluffy and feels cold. You can pack it down and even make "snowballs". It is best used outside, since it is messy. Kids will enjoy this. For 4 little snowballs use 2 1/2 cups baking soda and 1/2 cup white hair conditioner. Mix and enjoy.

Here is a cute project, with simple steps and materials. It is easy to make using things around the house. It is just a fun decoration for kids, that they can make themselves.
Use a Leather Jacket to Cover a Worn Footstool
By Rachel's Mom
I had a woven footstool that was beginning to come apart. Instead of purchasing expensive reed to re-weave it, I decided to cover it with genuine leather from a secondhand coat I purchased for two bucks! I left the woven part of the stool intact to create stability.
These easy crocheted butterflies are easy enough for a beginner crocheter and can be used for many things. These would be wonderful for Mother's Day or a birthday.

Here is a great way to remind the man in your life that he is the love of your life. Make some heart-themed drinks coasters that he can use in his man cave. An easy way to bring a message of love!
By ShirleyE
This project is quick and easy. It is a great little addition to the gift of a book to show you care. They can also, of course, be used to hold pieces of paper together as you normally would with a paper clip.
Felt Heart Valentine's Day Tree

This sweet decoration is small enough to fit in any little nook, but pretty enough to be displayed on your favorite wall. Both children and adults can have fun creating this wooden heart and sheer ribbon craft.

Remove Mod Podge (and Glue) from Paintbrush with Acetone
By ohsotif
When it comes to decoupaging or crafting with Mod Podge or white PVA glue, I like to use a paintbrush. I found that getting the paintbrush completely clean afterwards wasn't the easiest thing. The best one for getting out all the Mod Podge or glue is acetone (or nail polish remover).

This simple flower would make a great addition to any of your projects, from afghans to hats. Easy and fun!

This is a ball of yarn made from scraps that would otherwise be tossed. It's a great way to use up all those extra tid-bits of yarn that would otherwise be useless to create another project. I will be posting a couple of fun and easy projects that you can create with your new yarn.
