The last few months have been more than a bit harrowing, and sometimes, we all need to be reminded of what’s true. There are always books to read or articles to reference, but this week, we’re going to listen to who God is. Rain For Roots is a band made up of Nashville artists dedicated to seeing God is big and small ways.
Singing in the Storm features an in-depth look at how these artists walked through heaviness and hope with their eyes fixed on Jesus, producing an album that would encourage believers of all ages. As one of the artists, Flo Oakes says, “I hope this can be a point for people to connect with God and be outside and have a little bit of that being near to God in this time, to know that you’re not alone, even though we are isolated.” Perhaps today is a good day to unplug for a bit and let them sing truth over you and your family.
