For some time, my older brother and I had been campaigning for a family pet. Now, at ages four and seven, we managed to convince our parents the time had come for adopting one. Though my sibling and I were of like minds regarding the goal of having a furry family member, exactly what that meant to each of us was entirely different. I was excited and happy when my parents brought home the adorable and very wriggly Beagle puppy we named Snoopy.
