SNV Corporate Annual Report 2016 now available
Our 2016 Annual Report is now out. 2016 was a momentous year for SNV. Not only did our 300+ programmes impact the lives of 6.1 million people in over 30 countries, but for the first time in 50 years we implemented our programmes entirely based on business revenues, acquired on a project basis, without core subsidy from the Dutch government. We could not have achieved these results without the efforts made by our committed and professional global staff and the generous support of our donors.

Join us in bridging the energy access divide

Join us in bridging the energy access divide

Around 1.1 billion people do not have access to electricity, and the hardest hit communities are in sub-Saharan Africa. Solar energy can help meet the energy needs of those who do not have access to on-grid sources. This is why we recently launched a Call to Action, inviting stakeholders to join forces in providing energy access to 5 million households, in 5 African countries within a 5 year period. Join us!

Working towards SDG3: healthy lives & well-being for all

Working towards SDG3: healthy lives & well-being 4 all

780 million people lack access to an improved water source and 2.5 billion people do not have adequate sanitation facilities. Lack of access to clean cooking solutions and the resulting exposure to household air pollution causes respiratory illnesses and about 4.3 million deaths each year. Let's say 'NO' to preventable diseases. Let's build a world in which everyone has the chance to live a healthy life. The clock is ticking. Read more.
