Selecting the best storage for any purpose is a challenge. There are a number of factors to consider: capacity, speed, price, portability... So for Backup and Archive, the choice is often between disk and LTO tape. But did you know there is another product that offers the best of both worlds?

The Silents Bricks system by our partner FAST LTA combines the speed and ease-of-use of disk (both HDD and SSD) with the ruggedness and capacity of LTO Tape. The disks are encased in portable units that simply slot into the drive. Great for creating that much-needed air gap to protect your backups from ransomware or natural disaster.
