We are excited to announce that Andrew van der Burgh, one of the ASB’s Board members, will join the IPSASB from 1 January 2023 as a Board member.
He will take over from Ms Lindy Bodewig from the National Treasury who has proudly represented South Africa on the IPSASB from 2017.
We are extremely fortunate to have such skilled and talented professional accountants in South Africa and that we are able to share our expertise and experiences on the global stage.
We wish Andrew well in his new role, and at the same time, thank Lindy for her dedication to advancing the profession as well as pioneering accounting and reporting in the public sector globally.
