The U.S. Space Force just awarded SpaceX…

An $81.6 million contract to launch weather satellites in 2027.

The mission’s name is USSF-178.

And it’s SpaceX’s 3rd straight win under the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Phase 3 Lane 1 program.

The satellites SpaceX will launch do more than just track storms.

They orbit the Earth in a sun-synchronous path, constantly collecting data.
