Help to build a blueprint for skills and training in the North East
| Join one of the Chamber's skills workshops | |
Almost two in three businesses (65%) in the North East are suffering from sector-specific skills shortages. That's a live figure from a North East England Chamber of Commerce survey as part of a project to identify skills gaps in the region and work out how to fix them. That project, the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), will tell colleges and training providers which skills the region's businesses require - but it won't be complete unless it hears from you.
Every business counts To make the plan as effective as possible, every business's voice needs to be heard - both about the skills needs you have now and what you're expecting to need in the future.
In short - speak up to skill up The Chamber is organising three skills workshops and is urging every company to get involved. To play your part in creating a new skills blueprint, register blow.
