Chocolate Covered Swedish Fish
By attosa
I had a big love for chocolate covered gummy bears until I realized that the chocolate would instantly melt off once in your mouth, quickly turning the treat into plain old gummy bears with a flash of chocolate. Because Swedish fish are a bit firmer and you can easily bite into them, the chocolate to gummy ratio is consistent and makes for an awesome sweet snack. I one-upped them by using some of the reds and whites from my Christmas sprinkles to decorate them. It also gives them a nice texture!

This is a healthy and refreshing side salad dish that will complement any dish especially meat. I made this for our holiday Christmas party and it paired very well with prime rib.

I looked on line for the Original Chex Party Mix recipe. I changed the recipe and cut out the bagel chips and the Wheat Chex because, for me, it has to be gluten free. I used Corn Chex, Rice Chex, pecans, and gluten free pretzels all added together making 12 cups of dry ingredients to go with the other ingredients.

I found this recipe online and then doctored it up with lots of garlic, basil and seasonings. That's the way I like it! It is so yummy and a very easy recipe!

Oatmeal jam bars are simple to make using your favorite jam. They are not too sweet and can be enjoyed as a dessert or eaten for breakfast.

I buy the large binder clips to close the tops of chip bags, and also bags of veggies in the freezer. They are strong, and have a strong holding ability. I could never keep the plastic clips in place.
